A very happy birthday to a wonderful woman who has taken age-defying to a whole new level! I can’t believe you are 80! Eeep! Hope you are being extra loud in Byron tonight! Actually is that your voice I can hear from here?!
A few years ago, I came to Australia knowing only my immediate family. 10 years later I have scored a louder-than-life Jewish family I am so very proud to call my family too!
Aunty Bunty, you have taught me love, kindness, and compassion through your daily actions, strength, courage and self worth through your life experiences, and the true meaning of embracing cultural and social differences by religiously showing your support at my dance shows each year and through your work at Sacred Heart. Your honest generosity is truly heartwarming.
Thank you for inviting me into your home, to your table and introducing me to your family and your culture (which is amazing by the way)..Not many people get to eat parsley dipped in salty water and gefilte fish ever in their lifetime! But I have, thanks to you and your beautiful family, especially Di and Steve.
You are nothing short of wonderful woman and if lifetime achievement awards were offered to commoners like us, hands down you’re it!
Look forward many more great years ahead Aunty Bunty!
Love today, tomorrow, day after, yesterday and forever,
Pinky
